Kind of off topic but my rents are thinking of moving, currently live in Finsbury park, thinking of bloomsbury/fitzrovia kind of area (yes it's a hell of a step up Laughing out loud ). If you had decent money and were middle aged / coming on retirement age where would you most like to live in London?

San - look at members clubs with rooms if you go for the hotel option. You'll get reduced rates and if you know you'll need the room Mon - Thurs for 6 months I'm sure you could arrange a great deal.

Laughing out loud Laughing out loud Laughing out loud
Ive gotta defend my home town, no way is it the 5th WORST ON THE PLANET!
Though the cunt giving West & Bantock Parks as reasons to come is a grade a twat

That first road pic is the start of the dual carriageway onto willenhall rd that leads you into horseley fields, which is a prossie area near the town centre. got offered anal for a fiver who had a sign drawn up once Cool

My area is proper middle/upper middle class though we have some proper ghetto ends like heath town, park village & whitmore reans.

5th Worst Laughing out loud pic of this article being in the local rag tomorrow

Sorry mate not really comfortable throwing out big sums of money on the net like that, really I'm interested in where people would like to live, money is not such an issue (no baller)

They want to move to a nicer area with good transport and a nice vibe but feel a bit old for the whole east scene and think (and I agree) that Hampstead is a bit boring and overpriced (though very nice, I went to school just over the hill)

House or large flat, they're buying not renting btw, EVERS I suppose 1-2mili more at a push. Near the river would be nice but seems like you pay a big extra for the ability to see a little bit of brown water. Transport links to central london if not already in central london and easy links to farringdon for work and liverpool street/kings x for overground rail. Green space a plus but not a neccessity, general atmosphere I think important, into all sorts but not exactly out til 4am clubbing.

As a fellow Wulfrunian I have to agree. It's at least third worst! Laughing out loud Eye-wink

It's actually not as bad as it's reputation. I am struggling to think of anything actually within Wolves which could be classified as an attraction mind.

San, where do you live? Tettenhall?

getting an apartment in that place is nigh on like getting a spot on gattaca, 3 current resident recommendations make it so they only look after their own kind.
