getting an apartment in that place is nigh on like getting a spot on gattaca, 3 current resident recommendations make it so they only look after their own kind.
My mate got kicked out of our halls and moved into his dad's place at the Barbican, was a pretty sweet place but like you said it's a clique atmosphere

Barbican would be my dream flat location right about now, it's a minute walk from work too.

I'm WV3 close to the city centre, though hoping to move over to Brum in the coming months
Yeah you are right, The Dog is just off Wergs Road and The Mitre is on the green, both Tettenhall.

The Mitre's the gastro-pub [sic] isn't it? Had reasonable grub in there a few times

what makes me laugh abt notting hill is you can have a 15m house and no parking. holland pk ftw
2 Jan 2010 14:37
no shops or pubs anywhere near the standard of the hill in holland park so nope.
and you can park anywhere with a permit, even as far as outside harrods.

if i'm living somewhere I want to park outside, not down the road.
agree about the boozers but they're a spit away

theres always somewhere to park there tho, the harrods shout was just saying how far the permit goes. so you can go loads of places and just pull up and enjoy ldn (sic)

i was in the bonaparte and the elgin nye and it was so nice in both. not one single idiot in either, just normal nice people having a good time. and the oysters in the cow are second to none as well. love the gaff now, its not to high end and not to baddaman, its improved no end since all the cunts have moved to hoxton and shoreditch cos they got priced out.
