Anyone make bits of money online doing various small tasks, needing to make 800 this month due to slow business, but struggling to think as I don't have much capital to begin with.

here he says you should try and get 3% for your emergency fund https://monevator.com/emergency-funds-the-ten-essential-steps/

I'll be honest mine is in premium bonds, I've managed just over 1%

is the 3% because he wrote this article years ago when you got a return on savings? or sahould I have my fund somewhere else?

I don't think anywhere 100% safe is going to get you 3% atm.

Where is 100% safe in your opinion?

I’m spread across 4 savers with a NS&I direct saver as well.

Could be fucked if BOE decide on a negative bank rate.

Group funded property investment such as Shojin are good. The wife invested in a development 18 months ago and it just recently matured with a 4% return. She plans to reinvest in another property development, as if you hit the two year membership mark with them you receive a higher yield on your next return.

Anyone used Vanguard before or can recommend a good starter for Stocks and Shares ISA? Using bloody Premium Bonds right now as no idea where to put my cash.

I have a retirement account with vanguard that I opened a year and a few months ago with my job, and its turned over a few thousand in that time, Most likely because the markets were good in 2020.

But yes vanguard is a great place to set up.

I'm doing something similar, I'm pitching my nickles here and there every week across 3 platforms, where ultimately I will move a majority of the funds into my main trading account to build up my long term, anx use for leverage, while putting some away into a mutual fund.

You can set up an ISA account on Trading 212 then invest in Vanguard’s funds on that. Not sure if it has all of them, but no fees and has several of them

And thanks Mosoona. I'll look into that.
