Amazing.

I'd advise most people against short-term day trading, as it's an easy way to lose money unless you spend hours everyday doing your research. Futures are also a can of worms as is Forex in my opinion.

I've read a couple of books by Peter Lynch and think value-investing is my favorite method. Work out the intrinsic value of the company and if it's much higher than the company you're looking at, not a bad shout.

I'm not talking about a full breakdown of the fundamentals. I'm talking about a decent p/e ratio, which is relatively simple

A good friend of mine invested $3000 into bitcoins back in January this year, it almost doubled in value by March to around $5800. He's now cashed out because he believes the bubble will burst sooner rather than later…

IT would have been a smart move to buy a few graphics cards and 'mine' your own a few years ago. Think the boat has gone on that though now with the difficulty of generating them.
