Vitsoe & Dieter Rams seem to be enjoying a bit of a moment with their recent tie in with Inventory in NYC & the installation in DSM atm .I've been building my system for 5 years + but there's a nice video in the link here (right hand side) of a couple that have lived with the system for the last 50 years Cool https://www.vitsoe.com/gb/shelves?video-tidy

Cool, but how do they use this toaster? Do they have to pull it out before putting slices in? Or do they input / output bread at extreme angles.

I'm throwing this in here - this is a girl I know's site - http://www.unidentifiedlifestyle.com/

I don't think there is a lot of crossover in taste between here and what she posts but whatever

Kitchen is going in although early days so far I'm really pleased with it. Trying to decide on flooring, any suggestions? We have a good idea what we want but not set on anything yet. Tops are star galaxy.

You think it would be too dark? We were thinking of travertine stone floor.

Trav is another good option. We went for a dark slate to reflect our top but it's a tiny kitchen and nowt special. Polished cretes are nice but maybe too modern. Stick with a natural stone

Island unit going in now. Looking exactly as I planned/hoped. Induction hob I bought dropped in perfectly.

Coming together nicely Guido. Reckon travertine would look nice with the tops.

2 sinks, 3 ovens likely once the range is bought and fitted. Kitchen was bought 2nd hand and I designed the fit. Could not get rid of that island and granite top. Plenty of room this side (looking at photo) for a big oak table. Door to right of that sink goes into double garage.
