We've just done something similar with some African indigo dyed fabric:

hanto if you google image it there are several places selling direct from japan, links below that offer possibly slightly more affordable, but for anything big and good you are looking at a fair whack

Bought it from Love Adorned in NY. The missus folded it and ran a stitch along the top and the baton is just some dowel from B&Q that I stained and added a couple of brass effect door knobs to the ends. owl hooks were from NY as well.

Best, do a Google/ebay search for Danish hanging mirror. I have seen them occasionally, might get a nice vintage one for a good price if you're lucky.

On a similar note to that Boro stuff, where can I get some nice looking Indigo dyed stuff to make curtains for that doesn't cost a bomb?

Anyone ever used these or similar? http://www.clothaholics.com/Genshodo-Indigo

Anyone have any experience/knowledge in solid vs engineered wood flooring?

I've been looking at both and dislike a lot of the engineered finishes as they look a bit 'false' although there are a few I could go for.

I've read there a benefits of engineered. I'd be laying it on concreted downstairs and chipboard upstairs.
