Decided to keep the quarry tiles. Gonna get something to clean them up a bit / make sure they're sealed. Ended up being about £400 to get the sills done on top of the windows, so figured my money was better spent elsewhere.

Shall do before / after pics when I start to move things in. Think post-it note yellow and you wouldn't be too far off the colour of the kitchen / second bedroom when I bought it.

You have to re-seal them every year, they are a pain if you spill anything on them if the sealing hasn't been done properly.

If they are that old I wouldn't bother sealing them, they won't have been done before, and they have survived ok.

Some stone is more porus than others.

Need suggestions for a coffee table that won't break the bank. Needs to have some kind of shelf preferably for books etc

less is more, more about less. theres no way you can fit 12 games consoles into 10 sqm and LIVE. I know this from recent experience. room ver IV.II? project lifestyle. I dont give a fuck if you got banksy and supreme skateboards on your walls, kaws on your shelf, I`ll take a classic `80s bedspread, cut up tee `art` and a wing of perfect transformation valkyries any day. fuck my ES amp sounds good. just need to save up to rent another room, so I can deploy the rest of my nerd shit proper..

not married and don`t have a steady girlfriend and even if I did she would NOT be staying over often. Cant understand couples that HAVE to be together all the time, I need my space, and a single bed saves it.

Basically my room doesn`t follow any trends, its just the shit I like and it looks good and works better. I think more people should try to be like me and follow their interests rather than whats `hot`.

Anyone know where I can get something similar to this Monocle Clamp Light but without the Monocle pricing? With a bright coloured cord if possible
