Seems to look better on photos but could be quite hard pull off without looking dirty/too much in a brand new bathroom?
Done it in our bathroom and it looks good, colour of the grout is 'smoke'.
New kitchen going in at end of the month and doing the same in there. Used beveled tiles for the bathroom, would prefer flat white ones for the kitchen but like you said, not as much choice seemingly.

Really? Cant find them anywhere online (small hex mosaic, not large hexagon single tiles btw).

Cool Lee, definitely going for a light grey

Lee stick up some pics of the gaff. Interested to see the progress you've made since you bought the place. Been a while now no? Same with Seenmy and others. I know pictures have been posted in here before but I'm too lazy to look through the thread.

Cheers SYM, was looking for marble Smiling

I'll get a few pics of my place up at the weekend, currently getting plastered and still a bit of being finished but it changed a lot since I bought it

Is it worth spending the extra on tiles? Looking at white metro tiles and short listed two, one is about £25 p/sqm and the other is £90. Got some samples and you can probably tell the difference, main one being that they are much thicker.. but can you really tell once on the wall?

out on recon patrol today, walked past this place, so awesome, original '80s glass bricks, yellow window frames, mirrored glass, would love to have this place and fix it up to full Miami Vice level.

Just found the actual supplier of London Underground tiles, could be a winner:

Phil our tiler uses some off white/light grey coloured grout, the silicone we use to match it is called jasmine so the grout may have same name. have a look at that mate

No prices on their site…if you get in touch with them, let me know how expensive they are. Cheers.

@Phil http://www.firedearth.com/bridge-hampton-21250

they are really nice IRL but tad expensive.
If price is ok for your budget, just call them to request samples and check availability…
Leadtime can be long if they dont have it in stock in UK as it is coming from Italy and Italians close within 2 weeks until early-mid September
