I was looking at these, although I've seen some cheaper repro's I thought these were legit:

There's a few old ones around but just out of budget, wanting to get them reasonably soon and pref in a dark colour like those in the pic. Any idea the very rough ball park cost on reupholstering pops?

cheers- sadly I only do the stripping out but that's a filthy and labour intensive job. removing a 120 yr old lather and plaster ceiling when you live close (100yrds) from a railway line is a filthy job as the steam trains gave off a shit load of soot. I looked like a coal miner after doing it.

dee - shutters are abt 500 per window - whole of the front of the house is shuttered now (not bothered abt the back. they do give nice clean lines and provide privacy but you can have curtains with them too. no excuses for nets these days.

The GE 290 (plank) is still made by Getama. I haven't sat in any new ones, but I don't think they'll be any lesser quality than older examples. I have one at home, great chairs even though the cats have butchered mine Laughing out loud Mine's probably c1980s I would think.

I'm after a Wegner plank chair too, I had no idea they still made them! Are there any UK stockists? I expect euro shipping would be expensive

Not selling this one I'm afraid Eye-wink No point in changing the cover until the cats are no longer around. They seem to kill anything fabric, hence most of my seating is leather. Buggers Laughing out loud

I have a very similar table actually, the 'professor desk' which is basically a variation of the PK 51.

As for a price, good question. The lesser seen Kjaerholm pieces really vary in price depending on its location etc. IMO they're not the most desirable PK piece so I wouldn't over pay for one.

Its about £1500 but would need transporting from sweden too. Seemed like a good price which turned my head but minded to go with my original choice which fits more with the aesthetic I'm trying to achieve
