Auctions only have one picture or you have to go drive over there to take a look (but it's far). Can someone tell anything about the condition from this picture? It is from a design furniture shop, so it could be almost new, but might as well be from their office.

Just make sure everything works on it. A friend bought about 100 of them a while back, and he told me parts for them are expensive and it wasn't worth fixing broken chairs.

What makes you say that? This is just a general website that does auctions for all types of business. There are three shops that have Aerons atm. I thought these would be best because there is a big chance they are stock from this shop itself rather than out of an office.

One pic and the fact it appears to be a job lot judging from above makes me suspicious. The Aeron's base is easy to scuff anyway too as we had them at work.

It's a foreclosure auction, they never have more than one picture. At least this one took pictures of every individual chair. But thanks for the heads up on scuffing, I'm trying to contact them.

I aint building no man cave, it's my fucking home. If the alternative to living in my own fucking home with my fucking stuff is sitting in a standard ikea environment like Hello World and having retarded wooden cut outs of letters on top of my TV that spell out a word like "LOVE" then I'd rather not get laid.

Problem is I can't seem find a middle ground between design and budget. Everything is either ugly (the common office chair) or costs €500+. Looking at rip off Eames or Herman Miller Aerons from a foreclosure auction site now. Any other ideas?

Humanscale Freedom worth a look. Plenty of recons on ebay, mine was private sale and don't think it had ever been used, not one crease on the leather. Super comfy & looks great, would definitely recommend.

Looking for something like these to go into an old chest of drawers, but ideally with straight sides (not flaring out) and as basic as possible. Would prefer wire over wicker and basic but good quality. Where should I be looking as I though Ikea or Muji but there's nothing on their sites?

The Humanscale is nice, but not so popular, so I can't find any sales or auctions. I'm looking to find an Aeron in a good state now.
