Its because he is slating other peoples houses, for example larry and Stanley who both have some very very nice stuff!
then posts his box room with a single bed ikea furniture and fucking transformers!
he go's on about his vintage games consoles which if you really wanted you could pick up for £50,
and don't forget his superior hifi equipment which all seems to be sony! there's nothing wrong sony but it's hardily hi end audio equipment is it Laughing out loud
and yes he is over fucking 30

I love watching Grand Designs Revisited, but the time to make an episode is YEARS so theres not enough..

Russ74, Stanley and Larry have EXPENSIVE stuff, not nice stuff, very tacky, try hard and by the numbers. I have a very small budget and am renting a small room until I can save up for more. My room is very comfortable for now and I havent spent much at all. I would much rather live with my stuff that all functions than some stupid letters under a desk that are trying to be cool and get in the way. Heres a tip, If you like looking at art, put it on a wall at eye level, dumbass.

`Sony dont make hi-end audio`? Do you know what an idiot you sound like saying that? Have you ever heard of Sony`s ES line?

I rock a PS3 running optical to a DA50ES amp with some decent Sony bookshelf speakers (will updgrade later but 8 ohm and sound pretty dope). Everyone thats heard it agrees it sounds incredible. What do you have? A Bose ipod dock? Laughing out loud

portable I mostly use a D-E01 anniversary Sony discman with MDR-EX700 earphones. Now this discman is so highly prized by people that understand audio a DS one went on yahoo auctions for over 100,000yen the other day. Thats 5 x retail. The earphones are Sonys flagship model, they out rate faggot shit like Senheisser in every review I`ve read and sound like gold to my ears, and my ears dont tolerate bullshit.

Totally agree, Grand Designs Revisited is good. I like seeing how the propert comes along and how it fits into the landscape after all the builders muck has gone and they've adjusted things to what they want and also to see if what they have built is actually practical. Do you get the same one in Aus with Kevin McCloud or is it a Down Under version? I imagine there are a number of extravagent houses down your way.

Me? at the moment i have 2x Vestax pdx 2000s an Allen & Heath Xone 42 an old Nad amp a pair of jbl control's and a pair of mission (i forget the number) and i use good quality speaker cable
i have a playstation 3 for my little boy to play on, but i do watch blue rays on it, my tv is a sony kdl40W4500 (nice pic)
my main headphones are Sennheiser hd25s look them up (about as far away from faggot shit as you can get) i also have some Sony mdr v700 and some crap in ear Sennheisers i don't like in ear head phones they give me bad tinnitus
I don't have a cd player cd's are for fags, [fact]
and i don't own an ipod dock but given the choice of your set up and a Geneva sound lab L or m, i'd take the dock any day!

I don't have the time or space for a proper audio set up these days but if i did i'd go for Arcam, Leema, Marantz and Mission.
basically unless you're going to do it right you might as well get a good ipod dock wav is as good if not better quality than cd and some of the docks like the Geneva sound great i'd like to ear the Arcam docks actually even the B&W zeppelin sounds pretty good playing wav.

p.s. you have no idea what the interior of my house is like do you?

my EX700s outrate Hd25s in every review I`ve read. Basically you spent way too much money on `audiophile` grade gear whereas I have hi-end sound that is 98% of your SQ for 10% of the price. If I had your kind of money I would get McIntosh. And any setup using an ipod as a source is gonna sound worse than my setup so you`re wrong on that one.

Well you obviously haven't read any reviews because they arn't audiofile gear they would never even be compared to your sonys as they're monitoring headphones, For studio, dj, tv etc if you tried to use your sonys your head would fuck up in half a hour! The Sonys I have are good dj head phones but not as good as the hd 25s
You need to get your head out of your arse, and your wacky japanese fantasy world!
Also what makes you think I have money?

Have to agree… not a whole lot that can be said about it. It's all pretty standard safe stuff… but the single bed is a big no no. It doesn't matter if you don't have a gf, or that you wouldn't want one staying around all the time (you can always tell them to f*** off), anyone over the age of 18 tops should have a double bed.

I sometimes feel slightly ripped off that by living with my girlfriend i now only get half a double bed so in a way have reverted back to sleeping in a single bed.

I guess I need to get a king but its still not going to make up for the lost space. that she's stolen from me.

Yup, get a futon / sofa bed or something instead. Would hate not having a proper bed, but still rather have a crappy double, can get away with having one in a bedsit

I tried a sofa bed, it sucked, so uncomfortable. Why do over 18s NEED double beds again??!
