Must be nice to come from a culture where you get set up by your parents with a wife for life.

How hard did you really work? I worked 7 days & 2 nights a week for 3 months last year and 5 days a week for the rest of the year and I made AUD$47,000, thats about 20,000 squid, after taxes and uni loan repayments that leaves about $35,000. Average house price is now AUD$1,000,000 where I live, that's more than 20 times my before tax wage. So if I didn't eat or buy anything I could pay off my average house in the suburbs in about 40-50 years accounting for interest.

Before you say I squander my money I don't run a car, take the bus, haven't had a holiday for 3 years, eating out is McDonalds, live in the cheapest rental I could find, build my own furniture and over 20 years of working have collected a few pieces of reasonable store bought furniture and a nice watch. My laptop is 5 years old, my mobile is 3 years old etc etc..

I work 5 days a week(45-50 hours a week) as an IT consultant (risk management for private bank) and I live in a wealthy country so this helped considerably

Mil, maybe you should move to Melbourne. The economist listed it again as the worlds best place to live. Five years in a row now. Bet you'd be happier there!

It's funny when someone gets something nice for themselves you inmeaditely start going on and on about how they financed the purchase.

I did 60 hours last week, only 38 paid. I live in a wealthy country too. In fact per capita wealth here is almost double the UK and the highest in the world except for Switzerland.

Guess I'm just a spazz in a world of opportunity

I lived there for the last 5 years, just moved this year. Wages were getting lower and lower for me there so I took a job interstate.

I also have a very large penis, I think it puts milspex to shame atm. We might have been equals a couple of years ago but all this overtime of his must be hard on old yeller, while I on the other hand try to let my champ thrive as much as I can. We're talking long baths, relaxing ocean music, even some bikram yoga and grass shots. Gotta take care of mr 1 mil, only have one life.

Really struggling to find something to put my TV on in the corner of the room. All the options seems to be bulky and ugly. I'm after something c60cm wide, tv on top and sky box/dvd underneath.

Any ideas?

Vitsoe customer service is simply excellent!

Got a box delivered at my flat in one business day since ordering from London to Milan with FedEx. The box has been collected by the concierge at my building, and due to mine and his working hours I haven't been able to collect it until the next saturday morning.
Once I picked up the box I discovered that both items inside it were damaged, and that was well after the 48 hours stated on their site to claim for a damaged delivery.
Dropped them an email with not much expectations, but they just asked me for a few pics of the damages, items and box, and sent me replacements at their own expense, again in one day.
They even told me I could not send back the damaged items (that would had been at my expenses), and do whatever I wanted with them (items cannot be repaired to be sold again, but aren't completely smashed).
This happend in less than a few days and the guy I spoke to was super helpful and nice.

Obviously their products aren't cheap, so a decent customer service should be the minimum, but that was above any expectation.

This deserves a CSB i think
