Hi - looking to have a Hans Wegner dining set restored - anyone have any experience/recommendations for furniture restorers who know mid century (we're North London based)? Would be much appreciated!
We're also looking to get curtains done in our place, anyone have any recommendations at the cheaper end for suppliers and/or fitters? Thanks

I've just bought a 1 bed flat and need to furnish it.
Can someone recommend some decent sites to look at; similar to made etc. Don't have a huge budget but willing to spend for the right items. Mainly sofa- most I've seen are pretty shit for the coin.
Cheers

Garage conversion should be finished this week, any recommendations for wood flooring? Don't want to spend a fortune as the kids / dogs will inevitably trash it. Any good / bad experiences much appreciated.
Edit - heard good things about Junckers & Kahrs

Think a few on here have the HAY Mags sofa. Looks good for the money if your budget can stretch to it and you like the style. Comes as both a modular style and a one piece so pretty adaptable.

I have 2 "vintage" Vitsoe cabinet with sliding doors (like the one on the left)

The color of them is very yellowish compared to the new cabinet that are off-white and when I combine them together with new ones it doesn't look that good.
Anybody has experience with painting vitsoe cabinet/shelves in the same color than the new one (color is RAL 9002 25% gloss)? I'm not sure that a painter will be able to get the same finish.
Cheers

I didn't rate the Mags when I tried it, if you have a bit to spend cannot go wrong with the togo, its like a beanbag couch hybrid, comfy as fuck, will last longer than you and comes in a zillion colours and fabrics. Get a three or a two seat and a corner plus footstool and then hibernate
Edit: its made by Lignet Roset, forgot to say.
