IKEA's take on the Jielde desk lamp, Forså, is cheap as chips at £16.

If you can stomach purchasing an outright replica I think there are affordable fakes of one of my personal favourites out there on the net. Arne Jacobsen's iconic desk lamp which he designed in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen.

Thanks man, I didn't even think of Ikea. Another I want is some good desk storage for CD's, Vinyl, Magazines etc, some of the stuff in Muji was nice? anywhere interesting for that apart from ikea.

Edit: can't get html to work http://s7v1.scene7.com/is/image/JohnLewis/230606136?$gallery$&width;=640&height;=480

would rather not spend £300. Any ideas?

I am an interior designer, and moved to London to start a branch of the company here where we usually undertake the oversea part of the job!
