Sign up to Phillips' newsletter too if you haven't already, I think they usually send me a code for Black Friday.

Looking for shoe storage to fit a substantial number of shoes (100+ Oops ). I collected way too many pairs over the years and my apartment has almost no built-in storage.
Thanks!

Getting a great deal on a new sofa but it will pretty much take up every inch of space between the walls on one side of the room.

I like to have lamps either side of the sofa but there won't be space for this with the new arrangement.

Any ideas? Can you get floor lamps that are completely flush to the wall?

It's a rental so wall mounting isn't an option.

EDIT: Fuck it. I'm canning the idea. The sofa will dominate the room. Don't wanna look like a Gogglebox gaff.

I seriously don’t think I’d bother looking to store 100+ shoes in any meaningful way. Just keep them dry and out of the light. Stick them in the loft or something similar

A room with floor to ceiling shoeboxes is as much of red flag to girls as a bed covered in stuffed Disney characters is to guys.

I have a couple Hay mags sofa modules that I don't need any more a left harm and a centre piece originally part of a 3 seat sofa, they are in the common grey hallingdal fabric but I would think they need re covering or at least professionaly cleaning, would it be worth putting them on ebay or would anyone on here be interested?
I do have another set of left and right arm modules that I'm using as a 2 seater in the dining room which if someone wanted to make an offer on the lot I'd consider letting go.

Take it to a garage and get it welded.
They’ll tell you whether or not it’ll be doable.

Got a couple of Harry bertoia wire side chairs for £60 as they were rusting and had some broken wires.
Got them welded neatly and polished them myself, look great now. Paid £20 for the welding.

if it’s shoes it’s sexy. If it’s trainers it’s world of Warcraft.

Amazon Basics is really good for budget bedding. Got a few of their fitted sheets and have been great quality for the price.
