I’ve had the mags soft for about 18 months now and it’s getting better with age. Haven’t got it in velvet though so can’t comment on that. We’ve got the Romo fabric which is about harder wearing.

Any reason why you think it may not be suitable for velvet? Twentytwentyone say it's not suitable yet seems to be an option elsewhere, pretty much after a shorter version of this…

I went for the Normann Copenhagen Modular Rope Sofa (very similar to Mags) and thats available in the UK in velvet FYI.

I can get the same effect by taking the cushions off my sofa and stacking them against the wallCool

That sofa is everything wrong with modern furniture. How can that be comfortable?? Are you four feet tall?

If the seat goes far enough back to the back cushion, you could be 6ft4 and that wouldn't be an issue.

riight, so you're supposed to sit and lie down at the same time then? Like a recliner but without the proper form or support? Great idea, real functional.Roll Eyes

yeah, my rich friends have one. It completely sucks the shit, you get uncomfortable after about 5 minutes.

Hey Pops, you're kind of a short guy right? Maybe those sofas are just ridiculous for people like me? (6'2")

Has there been new fire regs, seems to be the case for a few velvets mags can't be supplied in the UK in Hays Ice velvet.

Yes apparently so, I was talking to an upholsterer the other day and he said it’s fairly common and that half the fabrics he uses don’t meet fire regs.

If I understood him correctly you can still order the fabric direct from kvadrat or whoever, they then apply some backing to it which brings it up to standard.

Annoying if you’re trying to order direct from HAY though.

I am looking for a nice looking bed frame / headboard for my 180x200 mattress. Minimalist, oak and/or linen.
I like the Muji bed, but they don't produce it in 180…

Any suggestions?

Recommend the natural bed company, quality is very good, a few nice minimal designs. Have a Ki but and considering the Kobe for the kids room, 180 avail.
