Anyone got any decent home desk recommendations?

Looking for something with some storage drawers and relatively long, about 2m.

Or is it a custom build job?

Got myself an Eiermann 2 desk for the home office now that my company switched to remote permanently, loads of options/customisations depending on what you want/need. Can even have your own top made in any dimension if you want.

Does anyone have any experience with Hardman Designs? Been eyeing up one of their dining tables.

Great choice Cool I’ve the Hiroshima armchairs & table in white oak. They really look amazing as as a set so I’d say if you can afford it , buy the table.

As a cheaper alternative Muji have a rectangular walnut table (pictured below ) that could work well

And mine here

looks great, thanks. just debating whether to get a light brown coating on the chairs, which makes them a darker brown. think i might go for this:

Wheres the table from??

I've recently went down a rabbit hole with YouTube recommendations about minimalist desk setups

Going to join you in hunting for a hiroshima table R, but in Small, and a good quality replica.

If anyone has any pointers they’d be much appreciated Cool

Mines not even even about price anymore. I love the Hiroshima table, but the room is quite grand and think it may be too utilitarian. I may just be fucking everything up.

Common setup seems to be two Alex drawers from IKEA with a real wood worktop of your choice, looks pretty nice for the price

We're currently looking for a new coffee table and just trying to go through all the options out there. Currently leaning towards the Vitra Noguchi in walnut as really want something a bit different and a timeless design. Any suggestions for alternatives we should look at before putting the order in? Has to be somewhat asymmetric.

not asymmetric, but have you considered this?

Thanks for the suggestions, we actually used to have a PK61 earlier and trying to get something a bit different and stay away from that rectangular/square shape. Great table nonetheless.

Charlotte Perriand's coffee table is a beaut as well and more in the lines of what we're looking to get. However, the wife isn't too keen on the legs.

Probably will end up getting the Noguchi unless we come up with a design of our own and get a fully custom one.

Likely to be completing in the middle of lockdown and the first thing we wanted to do was get the bedrooms recarpeted. Not gonna be able to go to the local place we wanted to anymore, has anyone used any online places that were any good?

Anyone seen smaller alternatives to the Uten.Silo as a little hallway organiser?

e.g.
