On a separate note I’ve been looking at some 70’s habitat designs. some of Rodney Kinsmans look to be quite collectible. Still worth investing ? or too late on these

There was a table on Facebook market place for £30 in brighton recently. They’re great if you can find one without rust. I’ve just rebuilt a large dining table, plumbing tap washers are identical for the glass supports if you find one cheap that has perished ones

On a side note, I love the look of these 80s habitat chairs, so affordable too

Im actually a dealer and am moving on my Robin Day collection soon if anyone is after any bits.

Should probably say I’m not trying to advertise on here, just would be cool to move this stuff onto like minded people.

Ready to sell

Two folding dining tables, 4 hillestak chairs, slat bench, Sideboard, double day bed and two recliners all with brand new fabric. These are all out of my flat. Only selling as I’ve gone down a more minimal Aalto/artek mix. The recliners are the most comfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in, I just don’t have a corner for them after my kitchen extension

In the workshop

Royal festival hall orchestra chair, plank dining table, three hillestak chairs, complete studio dining group out of the British museum with 6 chairs. Few wall mounted sideboards that I’d give away as need a lot of work

Message me on Instagram if you’d like pics as I’m shit with posting images on here

Looking to buy an all-black rectangular rug. With it being solid black, should I look to go for wool or would synthetic actually be better in this case? Might be a dumb question but I'd have thought wool.

Also, any recommendations where to find one? Googling and eBaying black rug doesn't exactly bring up inspiring or quality suggestions.

Depending on your budget, Finnish Design Shop have a couple in Black.

Yeah was going to suggest them as well. Italian probably your best best. Try looking for a matt porcelain/ceramic tile with an average colour across it.

was going to go down the book matched porcelain slab route, but the cutting costs are insane and I'm already way over budget. thought that bathroom I posted looked great, but am thinking of going for taledakt, although they're reluctant to do the floors.

this would be a good option, thanks. I guess the way of making it work is to match the grout as closely as possible to tile.
