Anyone seen any nice tissue boxes? Quite like the white one of this: https://www.amara.com/products/hotel-collection-tissue-box-black but alas has sold out. May settle for the black…

has anyone on here got a bay window with radiators and long curtains? if so, do the radiators become completely pointless?

Yes, and pretty much yes. We're in the process of redesigning downstairs and will be moving rad from under window to vertically on adjacent wall.

will have to be blinds I think, or just accept hypothermia. curtains would look great.

Any shouts for somewhere to get a record cabinet/stand/sideboard from?

Ideally want something I can put my records in (don’t have hundreds) and then sit the deck on top

Have tried the usual suspects like made/habitat/swoon but not found anything, and all of the vintage furniture places around here (Norfolk) are closed.

Budget maybe £500?

No ban, but while on the hunt for a coffee table I did stumble upon Zara furniture and this

https://www.zara.com/uk/en/music-table-p49307072.html, which is now sold out…

You’ll be able to get a vitsoe set up for circa £500. Similar to this (smaller with 2 bays & no cabinet ) but can always add to it. The shelves fit 12” perfectly

I know knoll hold the license to manufacture them which they acquired from an Italian company called gavina in the late 60’s but as they were so popular in the 70’s with many rip offs it’s a minefield to know what you’re buying. Seem to be many Vintage chairs with “made in Italy” stamps but no provenance

Grateful for any tips

Update on to this. Got hold of 4 1965 Gavina produced licensed originals for a decent price. All in great condition & still have OG stickers on base

We have a Vitsoe setup intended in part for vinyl + hifi, process is great of course but would check that your turntable would fit as depth is limited (may need to remove cover) and think about speaker positioning as they may be too close to the wall.

The wider shelf unit can apparently only be filled 2/3rds if used for vinyl given the weight, even when attached to a solid brick wall. The cabinet units are also massively expensive compared to the shelving and you lose some space internally with the fold up door, they do have gaps at the back for cabling which is good though.
