shutters/blinds instead of curtains?
think I might create a wooden pemlet type thing at the top of each window to conceal the blinds when up, then maybe just some decorative, or functional, curtains as well

Got my Serif the other week and very pleased with it. Not using the stand, but I've got it on top of my sideboard and it works well.

I ended up going for one of these HAY coffee tables myself but was originally looking for something more mid-century.

Anyone got any cosigns for a refurb Herman Miller or Eames office chair?
There were a couple on a www.corporatespec.com link from a few pages ago which really got me interested in buying one from a refurb office page, but they don't have the version and size I need, and they've jacked the price up by £200 or so (for obvious reasons). Have gone down the Google route to browse for some, but would rather look for a FUK approved site.
