Looks good Zeke but would look a million times more American Psycho without that curtain and with blinds.

my ex birds old man just built his gaff and put it everywhere which is non carpeted, e.g kitchen, reception rooms, bathrooms etc. I think it's a winner. He own's a plumbing wholesale business though so i imagine he got the top end stuff for cheap.

Yeah but I meant underfloor heating as a way of heating the whole house, i.e. not using radiators, not the electric (?) type you have in bathrooms etc.

Love almost all of the Jens Risom reissues, toying with the idea of a new living room setup. Also nice that it's somewhat of an independent manufacturer who makes it/got the licence and not vitra/hm/knoll/fritz hansen et al as with everything else of the same calibre.

I knew hardly anything about risom other than his webbed chairs for knoll till I saw the his reissued pieces @ rocket a while back . It's fantastic that his stuff is back in production to be reappraised by a new generation . Hats off to Rocket as it's likely that it'd never happened without them

moving in to a flat soon where my bedroom is essentially a bed sit, aka i have the kichen in my room. Living in the living room if that makes sense. How can i make it look decent, make the bed look like a couch etc? Cry

agree, cavity wall and lots of loft insulation are an excellent investment and will save you a fortune, also look at doubkle glazing all windows.

We got some money from the council towards insulating our house and buying a modern boiler, I don't know if that scheme is still running ?

These are nice. Pretty cheap even when accounting for shipping.
