have you tried contacting a glazier? probably the only way to get one, and then there is the problem of having a nice border/frame. maybe buy a long thick leather stripe and have it go around it or something

Dee, iirc you've a few Modernist pieces, if so the geometric paterns on north African Beni Ourarain work particularly well. I've seen pics of Alvar Aaltos house , and Poul Kjaerholm with these rugs and they look great.
Got mine from Maroc Tribal, Larusi also stock them but a bit pricier

good call on those rugs - Ourains look like they may work

cheers

I'm after a pair of wall lights. Don't particularly like them anyway but I've just redecorated and rewiring to have a normal ceiling light isn't an option unfortunately. Looking for something pretty minimal at (hopefully!) under a ton for the pair - any fuk'ers got any useful links and/or ideas? I've had a look at a few of the sites posted in this thread but can't justify upward of 200 quid for a pair.

as for a huge mirror, the new Adnet mirror from Gubi is amazing, might not the big enough though. I´ve seen it last week in Stockholm, beautifully crafted.

and if you serious about rugs

Lanz, if you really fancy a vintage PK22, be sure to get one from E. Cold Christensen who originally produced quote a few of the Kjærholm classics.
Hard to get hands on though, japanese collectors grap them as soon as they get on auction.
Also imo, the canvas versions are so much more nice than the leather versions, got one in green/army canvas and one in black leather.

So sick of interior design right now, think pinterest killed it for me, subjected to atleast 20 pins from work colleagues a day all containing the same eames and kjaerholm seating and/or "vintage" kitchens with great lighting, open shelving, all-wall white tiles, a vintage butchers bench and some anything-but-quirky quirky detail. Despise most of my furniture atm and have moved the most obvious eames and kjaerholm into a separate room of shame.
