I'm selling my old iPhone 3G, how do I delete everything off it so it's not got any of my stuff on it? Can you restore factory settings or something?

This seemed the most reputable / non-dodgy when I was trying to find somewhere recently.

I should point out that I haven't used them yet (or anywhere else for that matter).

Been given iphone4 as a present today. Currently have an iphone 3gs on a carphone warehouse o2 contract which ends in May next year but obviously want to use iphone4

How do I order a micro sim through carphone warehouse or 02? OR do I have to cut my sim card (I prefer not to in case I fuck it up)?

Any help is appreciated.

dont know if this is old news but orange customers can now get tmobile signal aswell.

https://kareena.orange.co.uk/share/

go there do the number and steps thing and it your mobile will swap between orange and t mobile dependent on the strongest signal in the area.

Upgraded the OS on my iPhone 2G (don't laugh!) to 3.1.2 and now the battery life has gone seriously downhill.

Used to charge it every 2 or 3 days before the upgrade, now it needs charging every day. I'm not using it any more than before, have notifications switched off, and am not using the EDGE, just Wi-fi (and not very often).

Any ideas?

Loving my iPhone at the moment. Much better than my blackberry, though the battery life is terrible.

Doesn't even last 12 hours

what are you using? always a good idea to close apps if you're not using them, bluetooth off, brightness not set at super high etc.
