Anyone tried using Google Goggles yet? Haven't found a very good use for it, but it's surprising what it picks up.

being a bit dumb here but how do u set your iphone to "automatic" signal selection?

spoke to orange yesterday.. you subsribe to the new service thing then reply to the text they send. once thats sorted
1. go to settings > carrier
2. let the phone search for a minute
3. when finished, select "orange t-mobile"
4. switch phone off and on again

your network should be able to do it. Should be free as well if youve finished your contract.

it will probably be set to automatic already.
ive been swapping from orange to orange tmobile signal now aswell.. cant really tell if im getting more coverage or not but i probably am.

I thought that but only problem is when I go to fill out form they ask for phone number, what type of contract etc. But I have none of that, not even a sim in it because ive upgraded to iPhone 4 now.
Have you sorted yours out now?

dont know if this is old news but orange customers can now get tmobile signal aswell.

go there do the number and steps thing and it your mobile will swap between orange and t mobile dependent on the strongest signal in the area.

what are my options for unlocking my iPhone 3G? All I want to do it is beable to put an Orange Sim in.
Problem is it isnt used anymore … do I have to jailbreak? and if so how?

Erm not sure then, give them a call then. They cant unlock it themselves they have to apply to apple or something but all they really need is your IMEI.
Yeah got my new phone today (still on temp number tho). Bought one on vodafone PAYG - they are unlocking it so should be good by the weekend.

Just got the 4. How long does it take to activate? It just says No Service at the moment. Done all the iTunes stuff and imported contacts but can't do calls and text but I am on the Internet.
