whats best way to get a cheap new iphone (large GB)? out of contract so can do anything.
or buying a phone and then get a contract?

Probably depends what you want (how much data?), who you've been with as you can get decent deals on retention still and whether you can be arsed with those deals where you have to claim cashback

I got mine last month with three as I found they did the most decent deal for phone with tariff after a lot of research on the net,and I've had no problems so far and they are decent enough even though people often say they are not actually that decent of a service provider!

am on o2 (have been for years and contract ran out) but not looked around or spoke to them.
whats normal data? am always checking emails.
why, whats all these cashback deals?
24 Oct 2015 16:55
couple of gig data probably fine assuming you use it a lot but just for email / browsing etc
worth checking what prices are like then calling o2 up and seeing what they'll give you
companies (not networks) offer deals where you get cashback off that you have to claim, but it seems to be a hassle

Mobile Phones Direct sometimes have good deals on iphones with contract. Have used them a couple of times in the past.

Most networks are looking to get rid of 'unlimited data' well on the cheap anyway.
Best to go a sim only deal and like Duff saying with cashback

I'm still on that EE Full Monty 31 Sim only deal, don't think my bills been above 20 quid a months for a couple of years,
I'm guessing there is nothing better out there?

Need a hands free system for my bird's car as the div is constantly calling me while she's driving.
Anything Bluetooth will be too much of a faff for her so preferably something she can plug in to the phone and plug in the the car's aux input.

I carry a shitty work phone around as well as 6+ so would be good to run 2 lines out of that. Ta.

can anyone help me out here?.. shattered the screen of my iPhone 6S+ on Saturday. rang a lot of repair shops and they're all telling me that they don't really stock the screens for this model and Apple is my best bet, but the closest appointment i can get is next week. I've gone online and had the option to send the phone away in a box they'll provide, but when i get to the check out it was £256. Is this my only option? seems expensive

My mate smashed his screen up last week and got it repaired at Apple for £80, I think that's how much he said it was anyway.

pretty sure its £100+ for the plus

Screen replacement £109 for the 6+.
Make sure you back up your data as they sometimes don't bother changing the screen and give you a brand new phone instead
