Yeah mine had gone to shit, luckily I had a couple of weeks warranty left so took it back and they swapped it for a new one. Worth a try if its not a year old yet, he did say it was a hardware problem but it coincided with the update for me.

Lucky you…mine is more than two years old as I got it on launch day so no chances of going that way

Have you checked you’re not eligible for this, lad at work managed to blag a new phone last week and his was well past his warranty.

Yeah mine had that problem, but already brought it in because it became impossible to use shutting down with 30% battery left.

They didn't change it though, but only replaced the battery with a new one.

Might give it another try! Laughing out loud

Surely this is apple shitting themselves, this has the potential to be on the scale of ppi for compensation.

I've been locked out of my iphone6 this morning, woke up and it was on a 'activation error' screen. Entered user/password didn't recognise so had to reset on apple website 4 times as it kept on not recognising it and now all my satanic apple merch has kicked me out of my icloud accounts and can't send messages or make calls Laughing out loud

Has anyone experienced this?

Does anyone know if the apple stores have actually started the £25 battery replacement yet? no word on the UK site that I can see yet.

Went in to Apple Cov Garden for battery replacement (£25) on my 6s yesterday - went back when ready and was told after replacing the battery, the phone was 'looping' so they just gave me a replacement phone
