From memory you travel a lot for business? When flying out from an airport that has a Currys PC World pick one up from there for the retail price minus the 20% VAT.

Great shout Rira. I just read they are considerably cheaper in America due to anticipation of lower gbp value after Brexit. Also wasn't sure what sort of Education deals were available. Was it MOB who was getting cheap handsets not too long ago?

Ahwell. My pal just checked at the Dixon’s Travel in the airport and the 64gb max is £1029 So not quite retail minus 20%. How do these shops actually set their prices then?

Ah, I was going by the XS' discounted price when I passed by back in April this year. That would have been 7 months after the release. I guess because it's only been released a week there will may be a price drop after a longer period of time? But does beg the question how they set their prices Laughing out loud

Did you see the X or XS?

In April the X would've been 1.5 years old and it was discontinued by Apple when the XS came out, so any retailer that had the X would've cut the price to shift old stock.

Bought an 11 Pro Max 256gb in Silver from NYC on release day that I’ve had a change of heart about. Still sealed, works on all UK networks. PM if interested.

Can I ask why you changed your mind? I'm expecting mine to arrive this weekend…

Either I am gonna go for the smaller one, or just get a new battery for my existing iPhone X. I’m stupid as I bought the 8 plus when it came out and then backed it when it just felt too big in my pocket.

Paid just under $1400 including tax (around £1140 after my shitty credit card exchange rate) if I remember correctly. Have it listed elsewhere for £1250 but would happily sell for £1150 posted to a fuker.
