ah shit totally forgot about the matrix phone… lol.. good old days. it was a shit phone, you'd find any old excuse just to whip it out and use that slide mechanism. Nokia were always the top tier phone to have then, build quality was superb, esp the 88 series.

I would rather go backwards than change lad. Change is bad. I like what i know and i know what i like.

Sounds like milspex.

Phones have evolved like this.

Motorola.
Sony Ericsson.
Nokia.
Apple.
Sony.

Tempted by the Z3 when my 5 bites the dust but wanted a silver version…the green one is horrible.

I'd add the Google Nexus 5 to that list as well Noble. I picked mine up for £150 on ebay - unreal price point vs iPhone. This is a great comparison of the big hitters:

or any work around? So wrong to have to pay for tethering, its using the same data just on a bigger screen, cunts.

jailbreak and use mywi. in swe i used to tether with them (dat free roaming) using this technique

N5 is just a downspec'd LG G2 with a Google badge, the G3 should really be on that list instead. Would've been tempted to upgrade to it but the screen is so ludicrously big and sharp they fucked the battery life apparently.

Thats why lg never made the list, or the htc which also came very good but never good enough to topple the iphone.

Problem with all these top spec android phones is they all look and feel like a big chunk of cheap plastic, with possibly the exception of the HTC one, none of them feel like a quality product

It still has better battery life than the iPhone, just not as good as the G2.

Also the 5.5" 1440p screen is fucking insane, word is the Z4 is going to be 1440p too. LG and Sony seem to be locked into some arms race of releasing ever higher spec'd phones every 6 months right now.

Fan boying is blinkering your eyes russ. The sony compared to the iphone is nowhere near a comparison in terms of build quality and plasticy feeling. Its pure glass with some top grade metal down the sides and there is not one single piece of plastic on the whole phone.
Ive got to stop now, cos you lot are making me sound like a fan boy worse than you are. Smiling

HTC One for all it's build quality reminds me too much of a dishwasher.

Not at all Noble I was going to jump ship this time, I'm bored of iPhones well Apple in general! But I like a quality product, I can't afford a Vertu and there is nothing else jumping out at me, I thought about the HTC one mini but it's no better than the iPhone as with the rest of them there is nothing ground breaking enough to have to start again. Plus they're all fucking huge

ive been saying this for years. the OS stil isnt as smooth either, flicking between pages on the homescreen is never as smooth as it is on iOS, and as sad as it is that sort of stuff gets to me

Z3 compact. Feels amazing to hold and is near on indestructible. I havent gone compact though cos biggers better for me.
I have no allegiance to any phone or brand and will change over in a heartbeat if my man tells me there is another new phone better than the sony.
Ive had and tired them all (hence why i hold my own opinion in such high regard lol), im just trying to out the truth.
But thats it now, im not saying anymore cos im even boring myself now and actually feel im turning into a total swede. Smiling
