I made the switch to Android last month, after having every iPhone since the 3g. Not regretting it one bit! So much more functionality and freedom to do whatever the fuck you want with your phone. For example, I can fling all my movies and boxsets on to it for journeys without the need for pissing about with jailbreak.
My one regret was maybe not holding off for the Z3 compact. I was torn between the Z2 and S5 at the time and opted for the latter. The build quality of the Z2 was second to none, but the Samsung just edged it for me at the time, being a little thinner and lighter.

The feel of it, it just oozes class in your hand. Battery life is a piss take (charges super fast, and the magnetic charger you can buy is a must as well). Near on indestructible. Use it in the shower (or bath in your case). Cameras a piss take (underwater pictures is lol). Voice clarity on calls is a piss take. But the main thing for me, its just like using a tablet but in small form it really is, chrome is seamless. Watching telly and vines etc on it is the bollocks, also there is no apps now you cant get on it either, ive got them all. (WhatsApp is the best and main one)
But as in anything you change from, it will take some getting used to and some things will give you the hump, but if you stick with it you will be so glad you made the change i guarantee it.

love the Z3 in copper. If I was gonna defect from apple, sony is the only camp I'd be heading to.

Just read a few side by sides and the only place the sony wins is the fact it's waterproof and the camera and it is plastic!
Been waterproof is a big selling point though
Think I'm going to go have a look.
Do they work / sinc with iTunes?

There's a program called Sony Bridge irrc for syncing iTunes

The sony Z3 is gorilla glass front and back and nylon edges and corners so it is quite robust.

The charge is the real winner for me, my iphone 5 on low screen light doesn't last 12 hours without a recharge.

Im the same, z3 compact is the only android phone i've ever taken seriously. At the moment though there isn't enough advantages for me to deal with the headache of setting up a brand new phone and restoring my "life". If it was possible to run ios on the sony then i reckon id go for it over the 6.
