I got tenso recommended by a guy working at reracs. Never used it myself mind but seems solid. http://www.tenso.com/en/
Eepee has also been a great help in the past, not sure if he still helps with proxies.

Has Eepee taken himself out the game now then?

Who's currently best for in store pickups? Stylistics?

Anyone know that can offer a proxy service for (vinyl) records rather than clothes?

All the usual ones, Buyee, FromJapan, Tenso, Japonica Market. They don't really care what you buy.

Ok let me tell you exactly how shit was.

I spot a w)taps x porter Blackhole in almost new condition for a real good price (JPY 38,000) on mercari.

I put it into FromJapan (as recommended by that cream puff Rirawin). They won't proxy it because they say the seller doesn't want to sell to international buyers, even through a proxy.

Soooo I go over to Japonica Market, put it in, no problems, it's mine, packed beautifully, low fees, will mark down if you want.

They're happy to fake out the racist Japanese seller for me.

There's a reason Japonica Market hardly ever accepts new members, they're the best. Rirawin is a clueless Visvim hack who likes spending his parents money and wears small jeans.

Ordered using FromJapan for the first time, would recommend! But the item I've ordered has been Awaiting Customs Clearance since the 21st. Is this normal?

I marked the item as gift and 3000yen. I thought this was below the gift value threshold?

Why? They suck and won't even order most stuff on mercari. Mercari is a gold mine.

Had a good experience with FromJapan too. Would certainly use them again.

Wait until they refuse to buy something you want.

I was wondering the same, is it possible to buy something from amazon.co.jp without using a proxy?

those who've bought through FromJapan, did you get your goods shipped via EMS? I've got a tracking number, but the EMS site is saying it's not recognised…

Go to the Shipment Status/History page, there you can click on the tracking number.

How long do customs usually keep a package? Mine has been in Coventry under "Item presented to import Customs" for 9 days now…

Got 4 shirts through fromjapan.
Didn’t really do my research, just went by recommendations through here.
Intl shipping charge (“charge 2”) was £43 with EMS - is that normal? Seems huge given the weight of the package.

Isn't the charge 2 inclusive of all fees (e.g. their cut)? Depending on price of items that seems reasonable.

Thanks.
All from one seller, worked out about £40 per shirt.
So essentially 25% on top of each item to have it shipped plus fees. Expected less, maybe that’s just the going rate.

I paid 12,300 yen for a shirt (lightweight) and the 'charge 2' was 4,344.
