Sharpservice charges 5% and accepts payment via Paypal gift, still the cheapest out there… despite being unreliable at times. Hence why I only use him for online stores and less so for Japan auctions.

Sharpservice are more like Jokeservice nowadays. Jake is the best imo if you take everything into account.

Anyone recently use sharpservice…should I avoid and go with Jake even though he's a tiny bit more expensive? Want to order off a non-reseller online store.

used sharpservice reluctantly due to a myriad of circumstances, all has been going smoothly until today when out of the blue they are asking for an extra 2000 yen for shipping, when I've already paid more than i would have liked to have it shipped. Email I received states that the parcel has been sent, but the tracking code they've given me isn't being recognised, do I cough up the extra money cos maybe they are holding my item hostage until, or is are they trying to be opportunistic, any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are you getting & did they give a reason why it's gone up?

Ive bought two items from them, one that was shipped without a problem and the other is as above, i bought a pair of highwaters and a 101, so its either of them, the only reason they have given me is (in albeit poor english) "expensive proxy" (no shit…) and that he had to ship from a different post office… which he hasn't elaborated and i cant see why that would increase the price, but then i have no knowledge of japanese postal system

What's the deal with Japan and sales? I've been watching an item on an online store which has been on there for well over a year and it's not been reduced once. Noticed this on other Jp sites too. Do Japan do sales??(i know they do… but hardly ever see big reductions when they do)
