Just looking to place a straight forward order and use the discount code the store has offered. Thanks Haven’t used a proxy in a while, what is the best person/site to use?
They should use the code provided as you'll get a price before you pay, but Zenmarket is my go to. Use Fedex with them and never have issues. Can be a little slow to buy but they will mark down and insure the parcel their side if its lost. They are the only proxy I know of that actively marks down.
Fees are also 300 yen per item, rather than % of basket.
If you need Mercari then Buyee is the only option, or private proxy.
From.Japan will order from a store if you need to email call them for the item. Zenmarket won't and only allow for cart checkout orders. Also From Japan is good to compare multiple items at once from Y!, Rakuten etc at once.

Checked my emails and I have used fromjapan before (4 years ago) and I don’t recall any issues. They must have marked down.
Il check out zen market
Thanks again for the info Cheers
No worries.
Just used FJ and they offered 30% of the original value as a one off favour for me this week.

Just use Zen. Other than postage the most you'll pay is 300 yen in fees.

Yes you can definitely mark down. Have done on all my parcels. You will have to pay a mandatory fee to cover insurance, which basically means that, if lost, you claim the declared value from the courier, and the rest back retrospectively from Zenmarket.
Fees for item purchases are 300 yen. You also need to load your account with the balance before purchase, so would recommend using Wise (was Transferwise), to do so, as it is just as quick and the fees are tiny.
