Cheers, I may just get Stylistics to put the order through to save any hassle.

Need something from Real McCoy's store. Who's the best proxy at the moment?

See if [REALDEAL](http://www.realdeal-rd.jp/mccoy/) stocks the particular item. Else, I think they might be able to order from Real Mccoys. They were happy to ship as gift and mark down when I bought from them earlier this year.

Who did you email and did you use English or try translating? I want some trousers but need some sizing info first.

I used the enquiry form (http://www.realdeal-rd.jp/mccoy/postmail/postmail.html) in English. The reply was in decent English:

Am I right in thinking the Japanese Sales Tax isn't applicable on these orders?

Yes. I've ordered plenty direct from Japanese stores and only Freewheelers has ever refused to deduct, claiming "First, we have to charge TAX on, because we haven't take procedure to reduce tax yet. Now we're taking steps, but not yet.".

Does anyone know of a proxy that will deal with larger items? I am looking to get something from Muji that is Japan only (already tried Jake and Stylistics but to no avail).

I'm sure from japan will, service is good there and shipping options are usually pretty competitive even with high weights

Yeah for single items Buyee works out cheaper than Stylistics every time. If you want to consolidate though I'd go with him, coz he's flexible with that and doesn't charge an extra fee on top for short term storage/consolidation. Shipping has a wide variety of options on Buyee, even an uparmored packaging service that super packs your gear. I had a lazordisc player sended over and they did it for me, it was mucho securo. I don't know about marking down for tax coz in Australia I never worry about it with the $1000 duty free limit here..
