Pure coincidence, he was coming out of a tent as i was going in. Another thing my mate did was constantly say where the bands were playing. Wrongly. I walked in expecting to see the racontuers to be violated with all the teeny boppers watching the fucking fratellis. Also i didnt think i could hate the kooks anymore than i did…..then i saw them perform. Nothing more annoying than being surrounded by 50,000 'alternative' 17 year old's screamingh that shit in your ears while your waiting for the next band to come on.
Edit: but i did my bit by grabbing one of those toy grammerphone loud voice things and shouting 'death to topshop indie' alas all i got was looks of disgust

They were REALLY good. Really good man. they did baba o'reilly i think?? was quality. there were a few really good sets though. primal scream was brilliant. Fucing awsome infact. Suprisingly the subways were pretty good too. racontuers were good as well. Highlight for me personally was Archie Bronson Outift when they bought on 'band of Nod'. The tent was half enpty but everyone was singing along was cracking. The comedy was good too.

hahah, i saw… gogol bordello (who was alright but a bit same-y,..and it seemed rather too rehursed none the less not a bad show) simon amstell, who saw him at the comedy tent?! i tohught he was the bollocks actually well funny, and he improvised well with the crowd banter/feedback.

yeah yeah yeahs , karen O's outfits are getting more mental every time,.. was good also but was distracted by the fact of meeting chris cunningham, such a fukin nice geezer, want like pretencious or judgemental at all, and had extremely good conversations, he taught us a bit, and we indeed tought him a bit which extended to a nice 3 day relationship of hanging out which was worth going there in the first place. Hopfully at some point we might even hook up for some work…yes i had butterflys. The way he thinks is fully justifiable for everything hes done and why and like if he doesnt like somthing he doesnt outright say oh i hate that its kind of because it doesnt fit in with his mindframe and contribute to anything about him. good lad


also saw bits and bobs of alot of things.. muse were alright actually. was disapointed in wolfmother, tv on the radio was sickkk again…//jack white..what can i say hes a fuckin legend and i didnt just 'see' him as the thread entitles ACTUALLY met him as well, i was pissin and crying inside but kept a stoned like chilled out appearance, and only managed to talk about billy childish (which was indeed all i was interested in anwway) but again another very fukin cool bloke. With a very soft and almost shy auora about him, which makes him even more of a psychotic mentalist on stage when he looks like hes been possesed truely amazing.
then on sunday saw shit disco who were truely ..SHIT wankers,..spank rock who were the bollocks,.. relaly liked them,..coldcut who were SIKK best thing all wweeekend actually..

but saying that in general the music was shit,.. okay maybe mastadon and slayer made slightly up for it but ..,. put it this way i would never pay for a ticket

i also met berk who might i say looked BLOODY scared hahah duno why bless him and mark cobra snake who remebered me from our last meeting which was nice and hopfully hooking up again at some point this week (basically cause hot bitches swarm towards him and its always EXACTLY like it is in his photos)

I would say the people who i met and what i got out of those conversations with those people by far and wide over exceed the actual music that happend.. its just one big piece of advertising shit.
