I'm in a shit movie phase yet again. But I hope Insideman (Spike Lee) will make up for that.

inside man isn't a bad film rich not great but certainly not bad!

i just watched 30 days of night! watchable but not scary or funny, i couldn't work out what it was supposed to be really?!? passed a hour or two tho, o yeah Laughing out loud at neil tennant taking time out from the pet shop boys to become leader of a gang of vampires

saw wrong turn 2 the other day, inbred cannibal mayhem i laughed allot and its better than the first

and then death sentence, i hate kevin bacon but i really thought he was good in this! its not a brilliant movie, infact i would compare the plot to that of a computer game, you know what i mean stereo type gangs etc but i really enjoyed it! it dose what it says on the tin! well acted with plenty of suspense worth watching

Laughing out loud So true. Watch crank if you haven't seen it. Also shit but they don't half make it look good.

Watched a room for romeo brass. Loved it. But still think Dead man's shoes is shane meadow's best work yet.

Watched Rendition tonight, thoroughly enjoyed this film. Only criticism is that there was a few unanswered questions at the end.

Talking about suspect action films, watched "Running Scared" the other night staring that blonde guy from fast and furious, it surprised me alot, as it was really quite good.

Aye, think it had almost every type of major criminal in it, was a good trashy action film, abit like a more extreme Red Eye.

Battle for Haditha - Superb film, and emphasizes everything that is wrong with Iraq at the moment.

I'm a huge fan of the games as well. If you've played the games then the film is a bit of a let down, I still liked it but it was lacking in stealth and relying more on action. The girl ruined it too, 47 would never sleep with a whore.

Rirawin wrote: Hitman - Huge fan of the game and I felt they did a game to movie conversion, certainly one of the better ones. But I couldn't help feel that they didn't do the game much justice. Oh how I wish they had cast an English actor to play Agent 47. I wish it kinda played on his past a bit more… I've read that the directors cut is a lot better, and the alternative ending seems to match the darker tone of the game, instead of giving into Hollywood.

The way I interpretted it was that he did, even though you don't actually see it. Maybe he didn't but you still see he has feelings for her…don't think that would happen in the game.

The Mist - I thought I'd give it ago after SOS quick little review and to my surprise, it was actually pretty good. It's the same guy who adapted other Stephen King books into movies like the Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile. This one of course takes the route of Horror/Sci-Fi. Not your typical horror film, as instead of focusing on the monsters, it focuses on human survival ala Dawn of the dead. The whole preaching religion got a bit much for me … however the film on the whole is definitely worth a watch and even the ending was enjoyably different.

Good review, I have watched it twice now.
ITs not the same knowing whats coming through the film of course, but you appreciate littel character touches alot more.
IT is as someone said a B movie , the computer graphics start a little weak but do get better as it goes along, and I love the feel of the final stretch of the film. Its simply a great little story and it fully immerses and entertains you for a few hours.

Watched There will be blood last night.

I suspect not everyone will enjoy this, and wonder what the fuss is about. But if you enjoy great acting with slow film pacing focusing on characters this is for you. Again I loved it, DDL makes you want to be an actor.

I overlooked the shoddy CGI as the character development and storyline carried the film. Is this the only decent film Thomas Jane has been in?! Oh and I don't remember a game on it? Unless we're talking like Amiga 500/Mega Drive days…?

^^ deep blue sea!

i like shark films etc though.

i liked that the host, apart from they tried to make it a bit serious.

saw that black water (croc film) recently also, liked it but was disappointed when i read the "true events" it was based on was lots of stories about people being attacked by crocodiles and not one instance. still thought it was good. you probably wont like it if you didnt like open water though.

for the people who like gory films watch "inside" french film.

anyone got somewhere to download into the wild good quality?
