Death Sentence- One pretty good, but short action sequence can't mask this utter turd. Even Bacon is bad in this. I don't see Wan making anything without it looking like a Saw movie.

I thought it was a Falling Down rip off? Have you watched Isolation yet?

Last night I watched "The Elephant Man", must be Lynch's most watchable film. Quite moving. Still haven't seen anything as good as The Orphanage of late. Glad to see that someone thought Wrong Turn 2 was better than the first.

Isolation > The Hills Have Eyes > Wrong Turn 2 > Hatchet

Want to see P2 asap. Prince Charles are also showing "Grindhouse" as it was intended to be shown, I want to pop along to that seeing that I've seen neither of the 2 films. Oops

The Cleaner - film about a forensics guy staring Samuel L. Jackson, Ed Harris & Eva Mendes. Not great but worth a watch. Ed Harris needs to d more films where he plays proper psychos.

No not yet, Isolation seems to be off the radar for me. Got The Orphanage and currently getting [Rec]. P2 is definitely worth a look in.

Haven't seen that yet, but it feels like it's National Lampoons Death Wish season of late. There's somme absolute clangers in Death Sentence, and by the end any shred of subtlety is evaporated. Possibly worth watching for some of the action, as the home invasion bit and the final attack on the bad guys has its moments.

This is his serious character-driven film, sort of Bergman-esque. I've yet to watch any of his comedies.
