EssexBoyII wrote: Planet Terror, actually really enjoyed it. Rose McGowan is almost too fit.

Bruce Willis is perfect for roles like this and Sin City. Heard Death Proof isn't anywhere near as good but I'm gonna give it a go after this. Don't think it'll have too much longevity tho.

I would rate death proof, its scripted well, got a 'jackie' 'pulp fiction' 70's style too it with the choice of music and women, some parts drag out, but the action scenes are worth it. Not everyones cup of tea of course but if you like tarantino's style then you'l enjoy it.

can you pm me a link to planet terror if you wacthed it online ta?

I am Legend - Too many questions left unanswered, and a bit lame.
Lions For Lambs - Ended all of a sudden. Tosh.
Raiders of the Lost Ark - for the 100th time and never loses it's appeal.

Before the Devil knows your Dead - Good film decent cast and worth watching just to see Marisa Tomei prance about in her knickers with her norks out.

Just watched the trailer for it and it looks very very good. Has it or is it getting a cinema release?

Cloverfield - Pretty late on this one but i was pretty impressed. Decent cgi when it seems the world around is getting worse. Liked the characters and thought the party scene was needed. Having read up on the whole slusho thing its really good but i cant help thinking if you dont have the knowledge of finding things out then it takes something away from the movie(something you wont have noticed in the first place i suppose). Very good though.

Isn't it just. Can see why it won the Oscar. Foreign films usually wipe the floor with the American output.

Chinatown - while watching it, i kept thinking… "is this really the 'perfect' movie". quite slow paced, the ending is good. i would give it a 7.5, but the thing is, i couldn't stop thinking about it after it had finished. need to watch it again i reckon.

The party scene was so shit. The acting was atrocious.

Watched Mike Leigh's 'Life Is Sweet' last night. Loved all of his movie/dramas that ive seen so far. Love his characters. Real slice of life stuff.

The Trench - William Boyd is quite possibly my favourite author, but this bored me so much I couldn't watch it to the end

Collateral - kept my attention
