Collateral is a great film ruined by one of the worst endings ever committed to film.

Last night i saw "GRINDHOUSE", both movies inc. the trailers in the middle. Having not seen either film, I thoroughly enjoyed the Grindhouse experience.

Eli Roth's best work to date has to be the trailer "Thanksgiving". Planet Terror is slightly better I would say, one thing with Death Proof that I'm getting sick of is Tarantino's dialogue. Its just the same person saying it just coming out of a different mouth/body.

Secrets & Lies - Another good family-centred drama from Mike Leigh.

Sex, Lies & Videotape - Enjoyable. Expected it to be perverse but it wasnt really. Andie MacDowell is the spitting image of an italian girl I went on a date with recently.

Bruce Willis is perfect for roles like this and Sin City. Heard Death Proof isn't anywhere near as good but I'm gonna give it a go after this. Don't think it'll have too much longevity tho.

I would rate death proof, its scripted well, got a 'jackie' 'pulp fiction' 70's style too it with the choice of music and women, some parts drag out, but the action scenes are worth it. Not everyones cup of tea of course but if you like tarantino's style then you'l enjoy it.

can you pm me a link to planet terror if you wacthed it online ta?

Was a DVD purchase I'm afraid mate. Really need to get Bit Torrent sorted out. Would save me serious £££

It made me want to go a party with girls making out in hot tubs and then a fighting tournament after. Main female lead looked like a slosh pot version of Scarlett Johannsen.

To be honest I couldn't take another film with one of the frat pack in it. They've always got a film out.

Love And Sex - Pretty boring. The highlight of this movie was a brief appearance from David Schwimmer.

Son of Rambow: Was really good. Genuine LOL moments as well. Thought the child actors were really good.
Jessica Stevenson is a shoe in for the 'Girls You Shouldn't Fancy' thread as well.
