The Reader- Interesting that Winslet could be shamed for giving a performance that almost makes you sympathise with detachment.

Great. A film that glorifies knife crime and gang culture to the young and impressionable.

Basquiat is bloody excellent. One of my favourites. Benicio del Torro is great in it as is Jeffrey Wright obviously… Bowie doesn't disappoint as a comical Warhol.
Verry good.

Been on a ninja tip recently (no fuk trio) and the last two nights I've watch Ninja Asassin and Ninja.

Ninja was majorly wank but if you're partial to a bit of nonsical violence, gore and action then Ninja Asassin is the shit yo!

Revolutionary Road- Beautifully shot, well-acted soap opera. Dull if it wasn't for the brilliant Michael Shannon popping up like some demented shrink to tell it how it is.

I really enjoyed Revolutionary Road, you're right he definitely makes the film.

I saw it on Valentines day which was definitely a mistaka-to-makea.

Check out Shotgun Stories if you haven't already. He's supposed to be the best thing in The Runaways too.
