cell 211 was quality Cool

just had to choose between downloading ip man:
"A semi-biographical account of Yip Man, the first martial arts master to teach the Chinese martial art of Wing Chun."

and albotross:
"Beth, a bookish teenager, befriends Emilia, an aspiring novelist who has just arrived in town."

no contest!

you dont have to just watch films people talk about on here ??

just been to pictures to see 'the artist'. cool dog. good.

i read louise brooks autobiography thing last year and it talks about it all in that (about when 'talkies' started happening). it's interesting.

Knuckle. Good! Recognised a few faces from the wedding programmes too.

Saw it last night; very good film. It's quite raunchy and the scenes are pretty full on at times, first time I've seen a film that graphic in the cinema in the afternoon.

Also saw Mission Impossible 4 last week which was rubbish. Wasn't really expecting much though.

Also watched Shame yesterday. It was Sunday afternoon and only about 10 people in the cinema. One person walked out before it got too graphic. My girlfriend nearly did too, although taking about it afterwards, she said she felt like she was watching porn in public, which isn't really the point. When it ended the few people that were in the cinema seemed glued to their seats. Nobody wanted to be the first to get up and leave. It's difficult watching but a good film if you can get past the shock and can deal with questioning your own notions of morality, especially with the scenes between Brandon and his sister

I don't think I've ever come close to walking out of a cinema - wanna see it now.

I don't think that hardened fuk regulars would consider walking out, but your average cinema goer, not sure what to expect, may well

I saw one person walk out towards the end, and like your viewing there was about 20 people in the cinema. Most of which were lone middle aged women it seemed.

Has a Memento/Pi 'keep uo at the back' kind of vibe.

I really liked the concept and didn't even mind the fact the budget must've been barely over a grand, but it's basically just two guys arguing non-stop for an hour which began to annoy the fuck out of me after the first ten/fifteen minutes.
