You're the 3rd person I've heard this from. From what I gather it's too predictable and obvious. Something you'd enjoy if you were 16.

It easy watching, loads of birds came out the cinema saying they really like it.

he is shit in it. i just thought it was very weak, the dialogue was shit. I suppose Sean Penn was less poor but not great. Emma Stone is always watchable.

Gangster squad is absolute turd.
Gosling is a great actor, but I'm not sure if in previous films he's done they've eq'd his voice as in this he sounds about 15. No substance at all in this film. Should have watched it on a screener.

Les mis, saw in muswell hill odeon, the amount of blubbering woman was unbelievable. Also people applauded at the end. I suppose that's what you get in a middle class cinema.
Great film though, I'm glad it wasn't hammed up like most musical adaptations have been.

Django was great, Samuel Jackson is great IMO… I think the whole point was him overacting for acceptance to the white people as he's the only black person he's ever seen who isn't a slave. Great use of Richie havens freedom too in the film.

Thought Jackson was good in Django aswell, he was a caricature. The music was quality as usual for a Tarantino film

Yeah.. Thought he was great.
2 brothers at the beginning, one of which is the guy in Beverly Hills cop (axel foleys friend from Detroit who brings the bail bonds). He was one of Don Simpsons best friends in the 80's 90's when he was sniffing half a kg a month. Also spotted the cowboy from from dusk till dawn when the Mandingo gets mauled by the dog.

This is a great listen
Tarantino interviewed by Howard stern, discusses financing and how he researches movies.

Not this fella? I just checked as I thought he played 2 characters in Django the brother at the beginning and then DiCaprios bodygaurd. Its dark and he is fully bearded at the beginning but he has a distinctive voice so I was sure he was playing 2 characters.

Tarintino loves to bring in out of favour old schoolers.

I didn't clock him as the other brother, been in loads of films/tv always small parts but instantly recognise him.

Has anyone read Simpsons autobiography? Is it worth a read? Stories ive heard of what he used to get upto are nuts.
