Know it's been out a while but just got round to watching Warrior. Has every sports/underdog cliche going, but I thought it was fucking class.

Probably needs a 'no homo' but I had a few tears in my eyes Oops

thought the first half was excellent but it just turned to mush.
how can tom hardy knock the hardest cunts in the world out with one punch then crumble against his brother.
totally ruined it, i thought one of them should have died in the semi then the other got revenge in the final. hollywood ending fucked it up again.

Watched

The Descendants - thought it was excellent, nicely shot and Clooney was really good. The daughter is good to look at also.

Devil's Double - really enjoyed this, Dominic Cooper played both excellently.

Hunger - Not the McQueen one but a little claustrophobic thriller/horror from a few years back. Has so many plot holes but it does hold some decent suspense. Watched the last bits on the train and when they started fucking covered in blood I could only think the woman next to me thought It was some weird porn.

Yeah i suppose that's a bit of a fuck up Laughing out loud

I really meant that it was really gritty at first and i thougth the way it was going it could be an oscar contender. Then it went all rocky 5.
what i mean by that storyline is that if it really wanted to stay gritty and real one of them could have got hurt badly, and i mean in a shocking way.
The way it went all soppy and unrealistic messed up all the good work oft he first hour.

It really could have been one of the films of the year if they hadn't compromised it with alls well that ends well shite. Would have been nice if a riot broke out with Nick Nolte getting hammered by a fan with a bottle to the throat. Then the two brothers go crazy and start pummelling all the fans with coshes and swords. Then maybe they could skip out together into the sunlight while the music from the magic roundabout plays on the public address system.

just a thought i had.

How long does it normally take after a film comes out at the box office, to appearing on pirate bay or similar as a good HD copy ? I know it prob varies, but is it normally months or so ?

Not my usual sort of film Carl by any means but it kept my attention for the two hours, shot nicely, thought provoking and well acted.

Stoney.
Around this teime screeners drop before even soem are released in the UK.

You always get R5s pretty soon after release in cinemas, maybe a few weeks.

I remember watching The Hurt Locker about a year before it's UK release.

You can get The Descendants and The Artist right now and they have only just dropped in the cinemas in the UK. Not even sure if The Descendants is out yet over here.

No, he wanted to star in Sideways, but the director (who is the same as The Descendants) didn't want him in Sideways, but offered Clooney The Descendants later on.

The American was shit, surprising after he directed Control. Great film.

Not seen the iron lady knocking about but it will drop soon as it's up for awards, that means screeners.
