Denzel Washington is the main lead, but there is another guy who's quite good. Haven't seen him in anything else though,

Yeah definitely Ed Norton. He’s a schizophrenic who pops a cap in Denzel, and then fights the guy in the red leather jacket who you find out later is actually him. Denzel gets away and manages to contact Del Boy and Rodney for help.

Jack Reacher - Cruise does Bourne. Thought this was pretty entertaining. Great opening scene.

Gambit - had to watch this with the other half. Had some funny moments, but overall quite forgettable. Diaz quite annoying in it.

Bullhead . Very stylish Belgium thriller ( fuck me you never see those four words used very often) about criminal gangs dealing in cattle steroids, also about one guys struggle with his own masculinity, very impressive.

Watched Pscyho for the first time at the Prince Charles Cinema near L. Sq last night.
absolutely loved it and the cinema seemed perfect for it. Going to look into getting membership there as they put on so many good old films and little seasons etc…

Black Snake Moan

A bit weird. Worth watching for Christina Ricci who plays a nympho and is scantily clad throughout. Samuel L does his thing too.

Point Blank (1967) - amazing film, one of the tops ive ever seen. Everything about it was incredible. Best crime 'genre' film ever made imo

Side Effects - Thought it looked shit from the trailer. Actually a nifty thriller.

Watched a few films on the plane:

Skyfall – Thought the film was awful, just uninteresting. The Villain was probably the worst I’ve seen. Can’t help but see him as a poor joker.

Silver lining Playbook - really funny/feel good film. Thought Bradley Cooper was brilliant in this.

The Master – One of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. Joaquin Phoenix was good playing a complex drifter who gets befriended by a cult leader who is played by Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
PSH was brilliant in this film, definitely should have been nominated for a Oscar for this film!

Saw this the other day, first film in ages I've seen with Jude law where he hasn't annoyed me. Thought the whole film was good, especially the latter half. Some good twists.
