The crow - for the first time in about a decade. Hasn't aged well

Rescue Dawn - pretty good, though neither Herzog or Bale's best

Shame - pretty decent and quite liked

The Ghost Writer - quite straight forward and not one of Polanskis best efforts

Tyronnsaur - got it too watch

Planes trains & automobiles - classic candy

Transformers 3 - Awful. Juvenilely amusing at times…but the rest of it was horrible.

Ghost Dog - Conversely, this was ridiculously sick. Forest Whitaker is a straight up boss in this one. The Rza helmed scoring and soundtrack were sick as well.

Liked Ghost Dog, especially for Forest Whitaker and that moody RZA soundtrack. One gripe though, I found the mob characters a little cheesy in it. It would have worked better if they had gone the route of Goodfellas rather than Analyse This.

Saw 'Martha Marcy May Marlene' at Hackney Picture House last night. Venue is so slick compared to Odean or Vue, plus only a fiver with Orange Wednesdays. Film was decent. Very well directed, acted and the ending was apt.
