Seen American Sniper last night. Really enjoyed it but the slow motion bullet bit didn't sit right with the rest of the film. Can understand trying to show the length of shot but that was shown through the scope.

Im sure it was you who saw Legally Blonde 2 and liked it.

La Dolce Vita. It must've been 3 hours. Incredible classic film from the statue at the start to the girl from the restaurant at the end.

Birdman
- Really good film, excellent cinematography & choreography and a tight script. Only negative would be that because the camera angles are so well put together it detracts from the chaotic-madness of certain scenes. Great performances from Norton & Keaton. Would of preferred the Johnny Depp alternative ending though!

Triangle (2009)
- One of the best science fiction scripts since Primer. Some pretty good acting by the lead and cast, could benefit by being shot in a more intense way.

Alien Outpost
- Bit like cowboys & aliens but with marines on a low budget. Not gonna blow you away but worth a watch if you've got an hour and half spare.
Only niggle would be that it's set 30yrs in the future and the tech is the same as now, could of uparmoured the guns ala Cameron's Aliens film.

The Objective
- Watched straight after Alien Outpost as they are kind of similar, seen it before but really enjoyed it. Using Jinn folklore, vimana's, the lost 44th regiment and other myths added another dimension to a film that could of otherwise been bland. As a side note I'm pretty interested in the folklore behind it so that may have swung my vote.

Nameless Gangster - Korean film.

Ha Jung-Woo is excellent, every film I've seen him in he's been good. Yellow Sea, Chaser, Berlin File.
