I didn't say it was a bad film you idiots. Kevin spacey was 10/10, a knockout performance. I just didn't like the cameras quirky shit in a few dialogue scenes. The best film the director has done since is Xmen: days of future past, ax yourselves why?

2 other films from 95':
Heat- Wasn't in the mood to watch a long film but this film drew me in. You can tell the director spent decades making it. The prostitutes murder felt heavy because the killer's character was so fucking slimey on the screen.

Living in Oblivion- Funny film about making a low budget film. "Yo, I ax'd for a frame line!"

Cool Story Bro

Garbage Pail Kids - Wasn't in the mood for a cerebral preachy movie but good expose of the fashion industry and probably of interest to all FUK members. Good performance from Sean Astin.

Hell or High Water . Very strong film from the director of Fuk favourite Starred Up, fairly original take on cops and robbers bank heist film with a spectacular final shootout scene, in a poor year again for films this will easily be in the top ten of 2016

This is of course really is a masterpiece, and not in an ironic way like some people say. And watching it on laserdisc is the only true way to appreciate it at home, shots taken from my CRT TV:

Compare this gritty real shit to the waxy, blu ray. Arnie looks like he's in a nature documentary:

Blu ray generally sucks because people these days don't understand what film is supposed to look like and get the mastering wrong. LD is the final format, from a time when people weren't fucking idiots.

MTP - Laserdisc is the truth.

Superprecise - It's flawless. It takes a b-grade concept and executes it perfectly. The soundtrack is half the reason why, the cast, styling, script and camerawork is the other half!

I liked Laserdisc, it was good, flipping the disc during the film was shit though.

Predator is mindblowing, I remember vividly the gore factor when watching as a kid. Its a great film but not to the standard of other Arnie classics such as Twins and of course, who can forget the masterpiece that is Kindergarten Cop.

Predator seems dated now. Its nowhere near as good as stuff like Alien (or Aliens) or Terminator
