One of my faves that. Along with se7en in the same year.

I didn't say it was a bad film you idiots. Kevin spacey was 10/10, a knockout performance. I just didn't like the cameras quirky shit in a few dialogue scenes. The best film the director has done since is Xmen: days of future past, ax yourselves why?
2 other films from 95':
Heat- Wasn't in the mood to watch a long film but this film drew me in. You can tell the director spent decades making it. The prostitutes murder felt heavy because the killer's character was so fucking slimey on the screen.
Living in Oblivion- Funny film about making a low budget film. "Yo, I ax'd for a frame line!"

That not more to do with the fact he's a paedo?

This is of course really is a masterpiece, and not in an ironic way like some people say. And watching it on laserdisc is the only true way to appreciate it at home, shots taken from my CRT TV:

Compare this gritty real shit to the waxy, blu ray. Arnie looks like he's in a nature documentary:

Blu ray generally sucks because people these days don't understand what film is supposed to look like and get the mastering wrong. LD is the final format, from a time when people weren't fucking idiots.

I liked Laserdisc, it was good, flipping the disc during the film was shit though.
Predator is mindblowing, I remember vividly the gore factor when watching as a kid. Its a great film but not to the standard of other Arnie classics such as Twins and of course, who can forget the masterpiece that is Kindergarten Cop.
