The Infiltrator . unmitigated shite, shame as interesting story, who doesn't love the cocaine cowboy Miami 80's era, wait for Narcos 3 to do it real justice.

That's My Boy. Now in my top 3 Sandler movies, great great stuff. What critics don't understand is that Sandler is giving his real fans exactly what they want. Just so many small ridiculous moments. Like the fat guy winning the marathon and being passed the gallon of chocolate milk near the finish, then Sandler's character yelling "That'll rejuvinate him!", just so many classic classic moments like that were in the movie. So many cool cameos, NFL coaches, Vanilla Ice as himself.

Good shout on Hunt for the Wilderpeople, really enjoyed it.

Saw The Magnificent Seven and thought it was a bit meh. A bit too good v evil, with little by way of nuance.

The new Louis Theroux documentary is also well worth a watch and is available to stream now on the net. Will put up a few links if anyone wants it.

I refuse to watch remakes.

White House Down. Hollywood left wing propoganda crap!

I get my movies at the public library now. So they're a little old but they're new to me.

Olympus Has Fallen was better, in terms of guilty pleasure cinema.

I can't think of any remakes that I've seen recently that were in any way decent, so I should have known that one was gong to be a dud also.

Nothing came out on LD since 2001.

I'm currently looking at picking up this system to dub DVD to LD:

Okay, I hope I can find that one. WHD really pissed me off, if you're into military stuff the inaccuracies were too much. I mean really? Javelin missiles are SHORAD now?! Um, what? POTUS has a silver plated RPG in The Beast? Shouldn't he have, I don't know, AN AMERICAN A.T. SYSTEM not A RUSSIAN ONE??! Delta Force's attack was just ridiculous. At least the Abrams getting disabled in the belly from a direct hit was pretty accurate. Mars IVs were weak..

ditto! i'd normally try and elaborate, but shit pretty much covers it. predictable, and takes ages to go nowhere at all.

You read the book? The skimmed over so much, would have served better as a mini series or something.
