The Accountant. Had so much potential and was great in parts but over all a bit shit.

^I loved it but a lot of folk hated it. 50/50 chance you spend a good/shit couple of hours Smiling
I saw you watched LA Confidential the other day…I presume you've seen Memento from the same year (ish)? Class movie.

Small Faces- Like Quadrophenia but better. Like, but miles better than any hooligan film. Has Shakespearean aspects to it.

Kes - Re-watched with the bairn last night. PE teacher was less brutal than i remembered, and funnier. Kid is brilliant as well. 8.4/10

How old's the bairn?
Couldn't put myself thru it, emotionally scared.
as a kid, grandad and I rescued a magpie and kept it as his wing was broke, we had him for a few years, in a big cage the size of a shed. sit on our shoulders etc - super smart bird.

I've seen Dr Strange. It was okay, but the special effects kinda got overwhelming at points and it was impossible to tell what was going on.

Dr Strange looks a bit like Inception going by the trailers but without the sorcery

Looks more like it has scenes that should have been in inception. All the inception posters promised stuff that was not in the film.

What happened to the magpie in the end?
7 she is, loved it. I see what Patrick Stewart means about Yorkshire speak sounding Shakespearean, as well. Just sounded cunty to me before.

Brian glover is amazing in it (and was in general!)

Mac the magpie lived around a few years - was in GParents house more than his cage - Family still talk about it as if it was an uncle or something!!
by the end his wing was just knackered so he went on his holidays (grandad throttled it)

Dr. Strange- It's not real magic though.

Total Recall '90- I liked the fighting and the gun props were cool. It made the most out of it's budget.

Elle - really good. Like Basic Instinct, but French and classier. Same director so maybe comparisons are a bit off but it's a weird sexual thriller type thing.
Anthropoid - very good. Had low expectation but it surprised me.
