Besides the odd premise, Tale of Tales was very watchable.
I must say its not been a vintage year so far.

Elle was pretty good but nothing has blown me away.

I'm hoping The Arrival or Tony Erdmann does it.
I've got The Handmaiden (Oldboy director) ready to watch but want to be in the right mood.

Green Room was good - so was Midnight Special.

Critics choice probably The Lobster - which I found shit

Swiss Army Man film of the year. Worst year for films that I remember.

Anyone know a good site for FLAC/Lossless film soundtracks? Looking for Jerry Goldsmith's Alien (2 disc preferably).

Why not just buy the blu ray with the lossless audio? Cheap as chips on ebay.

Hell or High Water - Boring, no substance. Only got interesting right at the end. But then it ended. 4/10

Nocturnal Animals. Pretty good. Opening scene of the novel storyline was so tense. Thought Amy Adams was really good in it. Looking forward to seeing Arrival too

Total Recall '90- I liked the fighting and the gun props were cool. It made the most out of it's budget.

Fuck off, it's not "Total Recall '90", it's fucking Total Recall. There will never be another movie that is Total Recall, even if it's called Total Recall. It's just another dumb fucking 2016 dumb full of shit CG fest with the name Total Recall stuck on it to get some prestige.

SCREW YOU!!!!

A great idea. I actually have the Anthology on Blu. Sadly I have no player on my laptop. Sad
