Nocturnal Animals - Crap. Reminded me of the Sauvage advert but two hours long.
Moonlight should win the Oscar but it's still nowhere near the best film this year.

Just watched Hacksaw Ridge and really enjoyed it.
Wonder which film I'll watch next.

Paterson - Goes absolutely nowhere. Adam Driver is a very charismatic actor and would like to see him in something good. Pointless film tho, nothing happens. ?/10
Hacksaw Ridge - Not feeling Garfield, seemed a twat on Graham Norton but his accent was believable enough. Standard average/decent Hollywood war flick but war scenes kept me interested, fairly violent. 6/10
Not sure if I can sit through Silence with both of these not doing much.

Paterson - Loved it, not much happens but I found it very relaxing and enjoyable to watch 8/10
Silence - Fucking hated it, Garfield is a terrible actor and the whole movie feels like an exercise in futility. 1/10
Moonlight - Brilliant, one of the best movies I've seen in a long while. Terrific acting, visually striking and compelling story. 9/10
La La Land - Pretty amusing, better than expected. 6.5/10
Nocturnal Animals - Didn't expect much but this turned out great. Thought acting was good but dragged on a bit too long 7.5/10

Arrival : Looked pretty good but Villeneuve proves once again he is all surface and no substance, the octopus aliens are just ridiculous, any money he will royally fuck up blade runner 2, why the fuck Ridley wouldn't direct himself is anyones guess.

Shhhh. Dont say that!! all fingers & Toes crossed for 2049. (Judging Ridley's last works I'm glad he sole control)
